Home-A-Rama 2022

What a huge honor to be asked to work alongside Revkah Designs and Carrington Homes in the 2022 Home-A-Rama. Home & Willow Design and Decor helped bring this beautiful and unique Coastal Modern home to completion. Natural fibers, plantings, bamboo stalks really show themselves off in the clean, crisp Black & White Palette. When getting inspired to create Coastal Modern, knowing the design team wanted an elevated interior with chrome fixtures and sleek lighting, H&W brought a juxtaposition of the natural and lustrous. Rattan dining chairs contrasted with chrome counter stools set the mood for the unique. Nature pairs with modern throughout the home.

H&W and Revkah Designs have created a home for the quintessential busy couple with children. Parents need a reprieve that's easily accessible. This home doesn't have just one, but two quick getaway spots. The Bourbon Lounge is his escape at the end of the day. The sultry space offers dark inlayed wood paneling, a moody painted ceiling...all to showcase a comfy, cognac leather sectional. A bust of the Barbados Man makes his debut.
She may sneak away to her gentler and more feminine ensuite upstairs in a quiet corner of the home. Her meditative space includes a terrace where a soft breeze can allow her to take a breather. She may work from her arched woven cane desk in front of the french doors. For the times when she isn't alone, a scrumptious, soft sectional functions as a counseling tool for any kid passersby. Graceful contemporary art adorn the walls and complete the sanctuary that she can call all her own.

The Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis is thrilled to welcome guests to this year’s Home-A-Rama. This show will be incredible, featuring six custom built, fully decorated and landscaped homes in Westfield’s Chatham Hills neighborhood.

The Proud Exclusive Indiana Dealer Of Norwalk Furniture

Home & Willow is the proud exclusive Indiana dealer of Norwalk Furniture, a one-hundred-year-plus manufacturer of high quality custom upholstery in Norwalk, Ohio. Founded in 1902 and located in Norwalk, Ohio, they manufacture custom, made-to-order, upholstered furniture.

Their tradition of handcrafting fine custom upholstery began when the founders, the Gerken family, newly arrived from Germany, began to upholster buggy seats for carriages 117 years ago. In 2008, the fourth generation of the family decided to close the company. But, twelve community-minded families banded together to buy the facility in order to keep jobs in their town.

AMERICAN MADE

They proudly manufacture American made high quality custom upholstery furniture in Norwalk, Ohio. Located halfway between Detroit and Cleveland on Lake Erie. They're people who like to “make things” and are especially proud to be a part of the current “maker movement” in America.

So you can rest assured that you are getting a good, safe, quality handcrafted product. We feel products made in the USA are far superior than imported goods.

LOCALLY BUILT & SOURCED

These products are handcrafted in the USA with a focus on using American suppliers and local artisans so consumers can be confident about their Norwalk purchase.

These materials come from responsible suppliers here in the U.S. who are concerned about consumers health and safety.

Today, Norwalk operates in a “mid-century” modern 440,000 square foot factory that employees 225 craftspeople, many of whom are second and third generation artisans. This team creates over 40,000 pieces each year, one at a time, by hand, with each piece built to the specifications of our dealer partners for their customers.

FRAME CONSTRUCTION

What differentiates the quality of one sofa or chair from another is hidden beneath the fabric. It begins with the frame. The materials and methods used in construction are what will ultimately determine how long-lasting your furniture will be.

At Home & Willow, we offer an endless selection of products by building relationships with the industry’s best. Our team is here to help you turn your vision into reality by offering exquisite designs, with top tier products, at a quality price.

Winter whites interior design

Winter Whites

Two of my favorite things are getting my house decorated for Christmas and getting all of the decorations put away. January is the month of fresh starts and your home is no exception. A clean and organized home can give the same feeling indoors that a fresh snowfall does to the outdoors...clean, fresh and white. Choose a closet or a cabinet to get started and you’ll likely be inspired to keep going. January is also a good time to freshen up your space by adding something new. Add fresh wallpaper, paint a room, or replace a light fixture. Something as simple as new pillows for the sofa or fresh flowers from the grocery can bring new life to your home. If you are anything like me, you’ll have to get this done quickly. It doesn’t take long for my winter whites to become winter blues! Then I can just throw a freshly washed blanket over my head and wish for spring...and spring cleaning.
