Our Story

We're an Indianapolis Interior Design Firm that holds true to our Midwest roots when understanding the overwhelming challenges of making your house a home.

A healthy home is a vital ingredient in the pursuit of a meaningful life. By remaining flexible and accessible, we empower clients to create spaces where they can plant their tree, grow roots and make memories.

We’re passionate about designing spaces for friends and family to enjoy, prosper
and always feel welcomed. This passion was planted years ago, when our founder
would draw out floor plans, elevations and pick out furniture pieces from catalogs
as a young girl. Those childhood dreams and aspirations are the reasons why we
treat every customer’s home as if it were our own. Our process is much more
than the way colors, shapes and materials work together. We believe in building
relationship with clients and providing creative, problem-solving solutions.
throughout the whole process

THAT'S WHAT WE CALL

the nature of design.

Stacy Stater

Senior Designer/Founder

According to Stacy, our homes are where we build our most important relationships—it’s where we escape, find rest, and re-fuel for the next day. Home must be a direct reflection of our personality. It has to be pleasing the eye. It has to have order. Our home has to work for us and not the other way around. Stacy’s passion is helping people as they endeavor to make their home everything it can possibly be.

Bron Dailey

Designer

Ever since I was a little girl, I always had a passion for design. After several years in visual merchandising, my curiosity grew to structural design and interior furnishings. Growing up in the Midwest, I was always fascinated by what I would see in movies or magazines. The NY Penthouse or Miami Waterfront Mansions. I would get so captivated by the beauty of it all that it would take my breath away. I knew that I wanted to design spaces that would create those same types of emotions for others. Spending several years living in Fl, TX and CA has given me the opportunity to experience a broad range of design styles and structural aesthetics. That experience, combined with a background in psychology, allows me to tap into what my clients are ultimately looking for and sometimes, they don’t even realize what that is….. until they see it and, it takes their breath away.

Alexis Rhule

Designer

Alexis Rhule, brings creativity and passion to every project since joining Home & Willow Design in 2024. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Alexis relocated to Indianapolis after pursuing a degree in engineering from Penn State.

One of her first design projects was a 1950’s fixer-upper. This pandemic-driven endeavour ignited her passion for all things Design.  She loves the creative pivot she’s made in her life.  Alexis is excited to merge engineering and design when solving problems for homeowners. She has completed her formal training at the New York Institute of Art and Design and will soon obtain her RIDQC certification.

Outside of design, she indulges her love for racing and photography at the racetrack, embracing the thrill of capturing moments beyond aesthetics.
